Product Description
Most fragrances are blended and bottled. Our fragrances spends three months inside new Cognac oak barrels first - sourced from cooperages in the Cognac region of France, the same oak used for the world's finest cognac. The wood changes the structure of what is inside it. It contributes a smokiness that is architectural, not decorative. It cannot be replicated by adding a smoky ingredient.
The opening is bright - grapefruit and aromatic herbs, clean and sharp. Then the heart: tobacco and jasmine, dry with slight warmth. After an hour, the base arrives. Sandalwood, leather, a thread of vanilla. And under all of it, the barrel - not dominant, but present. By the end of the day, the base is still there.
